IB40 Maintenance

Boiler Cleaning and Rinsing (recommended every 3 months)
Not required when using distilled water or water processed through Agua[+] (Aquaplus) water fill bottle.
* Always disconnect the power supply cord and ensure that the equipment is completely cool and the boiler contains no water.
* Disconnect the iron from the steam supply.
* Slowly unscrew the safety cap and remove it.
* Incline the board and allow water to drain into a receptacle.
* Using the bottle fill the boiler with 0.8 liters of water. Close the cap and shake vigorously then unscrew the cap and drain the liquid into the sink.
* Repeat the operation 2 or 3 times.
* When you have finished replace the cap.
* Refill the boiler just before you are going to use the system again.
